Share subscriptions with Sanoma’s stock options

A total of 616,774 shares of Sanoma Corporation have been subscribed with 2011 stock options. Following these subscriptions, the number of Sanoma ‘s shares increased from 162,948,889 shares to 163,565,663 shares. The total amount of subscription prices was recorded in the fund for invested non-restricted equity.

The new shares were entered into the Trade Register on 21 December 2017 and they will be traded on the Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd. together with the old shares as of 22 December 2017.

For the new shares subscribed with stock options all shareholder rights commence from the date on which they are entered into the Trade Register.

The share subscription period for stock options 2011 was 1 November 2014 – 30 November 2017. The 2011 stock options had entitled to subscriptions of a total of 798,400 company’s new shares. A total of 753,570 company’s new shares were subscribed for under the stock options 2011. 2011 stock options that were not exercised by the end of the subscription period are no longer valid.

After the termination of the 2011 stock option plan Sanoma has no valid stock option plans.
