Innovative learning solution for mathematics enabling e-learning
Today Sanoma Learning, a leading European provider of learning solutions, and Kikora, a leading provider of semantic math e-learning solutions, announced a partnership to accelerate the development and delivery of next-generation learning solutions for mathematics. The partnership supports Sanoma’s strategy to bring personalised learning to a higher level.
Sanoma Learning and Kikora signed a partnership agreement enabling Sanoma to embed Kikora’s solution in Sanoma’s next-generation digital learning solutions for mathematics. The first deployment of the technology is in Sanoma Learning’s market leading StudySteps digital tutoring offering in Belgium and the Netherlands, a fully adaptive and personalised online mathematics tutoring solution.
The digital tutoring platform, www.studysteps.com, builds on Kikora’s unique semantic math engine and Sanoma’s leading learning solutions and adaptive engine to deliver a revolutionary personalised tutoring service to be used at home by pupils and parents in both Belgium and the Netherlands.
“The partnership with Kikora and the launch of the digital platform are important parts of our growth strategy, and aim to solidify our position as a leader in the market of next-generation digital learning solutions. We believe in partnering with innovative domain leaders, such as Kikora, to provide us with components that enable us to bring solutions to our teachers and pupils that can make a real difference and finally deliver on the promise of innovative digital learning solutions,” says Jacques Eijkens, CEO of Sanoma Learning.
“The partnership with Sanoma Learning is an important milestone in our international growth strategy and we’re thrilled to be able to contribute to Sanoma Learning’s innovative next generation learning solutions and the opportunity to work with one of the leading European learning solution providers. We believe the co-operation will have a positive impact on both companies’ offerings,” says Esben Keim, CEO at Kikora.
