Sanoma Corporation’s Board of Directors has at its organisation meeting decided to appoint among its members the members for Audit Committee and Human Resources Committee until the Annual General Meeting in 2017.
Audit Committee comprises Anne Brunila (Chairman), Nils Ittonen, Denise Koopmans and Robin Langenskiöld. All members of the Committee are independent of the Company. Anne Brunila, Denise Koopmans and Robin Langenskiöld are also independent of the major shareholders as stipulated in the Finnish Corporate Governance Code.
Human Resources Committee comprises Kai Öistämö (Chairman), Mika Ihamuotila and Rafaela Seppälä. All members of the Committee are independent of the Company and major shareholders as stipulated in the Finnish Corporate Governance Code.
In addition, Sanoma has an Executive Committee. The Executive Committee consists of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board, President and CEO and at Chairman’s invitation one or several members of the Board. In 2016, the Executive Committee will comprise Pekka Ala-Pietilä (Chairman), Antti Herlin, Nils Ittonen and Susan Duinhoven.
