Sanoma Corporation, Press Release, 6 November 2015 at 12:00 CET+1
Sanoma is divesting its majority ownership in the Finnish book-printing company Bookwell to Spektri Production. At the same time, Spektri Production is also acquiring Gummerus’ and Karisto’s minority shares in Bookwell. After these transactions, Spektri Production will have full ownership of Bookwell.
The owners of Spektri Production operate various Finnish printing houses.
In 2014, the net sales of Bookwell totalled around EUR 19 million. This divestment is in line with Sanoma’s strategy to focus its operations and divest selected ownerships.
