Sanoma Corporation, Stock Exchange Release, 26 November 2015 at 9:45 CET+1
Sanoma today announces a number of changes in its Executive Management Group (EMG) reporting structure, designed to increase agility and operational focus in Sanoma’s strategic business units. The changes consist of:
- Chief HR Officer Jacqueline Cuthbert is leaving Sanoma on 1 January 2016 to pursue other interests. Gieta Veersma will take over Jacqueline’s Group HR responsibilities in addition to her role as HR Director of Sanoma Media BeNe. The Group HR role will report to CFO Kim Ignatius and no longer be part of the EMG.
- Sanoma’s pure-play digital businesses such as NU.nl, Fashionchick and Oikotie will be integrated into Sanoma Media BeNe and Sanoma Media Finland as appropriate. This move will further strengthen Sanoma’s cross-media offering to consumers and business customers. The remainder of Sanoma Digital will be converted into a Digital Centre of Expertise, reporting to Sanoma CEO Susan Duinhoven.
- Arthur Hoffman, currently CEO of Sanoma Digital and Technology, will leave Sanoma by mutual agreement on 1 January 2016. Susan Duinhoven will lead Sanoma’s Technology organisation until a new leader has been appointed.
