Exciting times for VAN IN! Bingel, the successful digital educational platform for both pupils and teachers of primary schools is nominated for one of the London Book Fair International Excellence Awards 2015. Along with two other educational publishing houses from Ireland and the United States VAN IN competes with bingel for the ‘International Educational Learning Resources Award’.
A jury of international experts chose VAN IN and bingel from a long list of participants coming from dozens of countries. The winner will be announced at the London Book Fair on Thursday evening April 14, 2015.
In the past bingel already received the award for ‘Best Belgian online content for children’ in the category ‘Professionals’, handed out by Click Safe, a part of Child Focus.
The popularity of the bingel platform is evidenced by the fact that over 70% of the pupils in primary schools and 80% of the primary schools ‘bingelen’.
Bingel was completely renovated in September 2014. To motivate pupils even more several new worlds and stories were introduced and bingel now can be used on tablets as well. Furthermore, the teacher section contains additional differentiation opportunities to get the best out of every child. Bingel is not only available in Flanders, the platform was also introduced in Wallonia (wazzou.be), Sweden and Finland.
