Finland's most popular women's magazines, Kodin Kuvalehti, Me Naiset, and ET-lehti, have further cemented their leading position on the Finnish magazine market, attracting a total of 73,000 new readers according to the latest Finnish National Readership Survey (NRS Reader 2010).ET-lehti, which is Finland's leading title for people in the third stage of their lives, now has 751,000 readers, an increase of 56,000 or 8.1% on the previous survey (NRS Reader A2009/S2010).Finland's leading women's weekly,
Me Naiset, has increased its lead over its nearest competitor,
Anna, to nearly 100,000 readers. The magazine has attracted 4,000 new readers and its readership now stands at 455,000. Finland's largest women's magazine,
Kodin Kuvalehti, has 13,000 more readers and is read by 587,000 people."ET-lehti, Kodin Kuvalehti, and Me Naiset are today's new-generation general interest titles," says Riitta Pollari, Sanoma Magazines Finland's Editorial Director. "They are able to engage a very wide range of readers, while still retaining their own personality and approach. Their success is very much down to the professionalism of the people behind them, responsible for the writing and the visuals, which really stand out from the rest of the field."Four of Sanoma Magazines Finland's other women's and family titles have also increased their readership:

Auto Bild Suomi has also continued growing, increasing its readership by 7,000 to 155,000. DIY title,
Osaava Kodinrakentaja, attracted 4,000 new readers and is now read by 48,000 people.
Donald duck has over million readersThe king of the magazine hill in Finland,
Aku Ankka (Donald Duck), which is celebrating its 60th anniversary in style this year, is again the only subscription title to break the million-reader barrier in Finland. Aku Ankka now has 1,060,000 over 12 years old readers according to the latest survey, 10,000 down on the previous figure."The latest NRS figures confirm that we have further strengthened our position as Finland's leading magazine publisher," says Sanoma Magazines Finland's CEO, Clarisse Berggårdh. "The strong growth shown by many titles proves that titles at the top of their form that truly engage their readers are continuing to be very successful and that's why it is so important that we keep developing our magazines all the time. New titles are also important in keeping the magazine world dynamic, and at the end of April, we will be launching a positive new title designed for girls aged between 10 and 14: Inez."Sanoma Magazines Finland's 27 subscription titles included in the latest National Readership Survey have a total of 6,879,000 readers; and the circulation of the company's magazines last year totalled 2,345,248 (FABC 2010, 52 titles).
