Helsingin Sanomat is now looking for a creative project team that could transfer the spirit of the campaign to Finland.
UNICEF started the Tap Project in 2007 in New York where local consumers paid a dollar for a glass of ice water that is normally free of charge in restaurants. The aim of the campaign is to provide clean water to children around the world every day.
Helsingin Sanomat and Finnish UNICEF start a contest to localise the spirit of the project to Finland where clean tap water is available for every one. All finalists will receive a sum of EUR 5,000 which can be used to creative work or donated to the fundraising. In addition, the winning team will get a trip to New York.
Helsingin Sanomat is a part of Sanoma's News division.
