Sanoma Uitgevers, part of Sanoma Magazines, launches Grazia, the first glossy fashion weekly in the Netherlands. Grazia will be published in cooperation with the Italian publishing company Arnoldo Mondadori Editore S.p.A.
The magazine offers an exciting mix of fashion, beauty and lifestyle. Grazia's target reader is a young working woman.
"Grazia fits our glossy portfolio perfectly. We are proud that we are able to deliver this international concept to the Netherlands. This concept of a weekly glossy also offers new opportunities for advertisers," the publisher Ard Siekerman says.
"Grazia has a unique, contemporary formula that combines high-end fashion, shopping and inspiring beauty with world news, real life stories and well-informed celebrity gossip. The looks of a glossy and the pace of a weekly will make it the magazine for today's woman," enthuses Editor-in-Chief Hilmar Mulder, who is also Editor-in-Chief of the Dutch Cosmopolitan.
Grazia will come out this autumn. Last March, Sanoma Magazines launched Grazia in Russia.
Grazia was originally launched in Italy in 1938. Owned by Italy's market-leading publisher Mondadori, Grazia is rated the Number 1 weekly glossy in Italy and the United Kingdom.
Sanoma Uitgevers is part of SanomaWSOY's magazine division Sanoma Magazines.
