WSOY's Finnish literature has been doing well this autumn. Almost a dozen Finnish novelists have hit records. Rakel Liehu's Helene, a biography of the Finnish painter Helene Scherfbeck, Leena Lander's novel Käsky, Pirkko Saisio's Punainen erokirja which also won the Finnish literature award, Finlandia, as well as Nokian nuoriso-ohjaaja by Juha Ruusuvuori and thrillers Raid ja poika by Harri Nykänen and Ikiyö by Ilkka Remes have already sold better than any of the previous books from these authors, many of which extremely popular in Finland. WSOY is expecting the total book sales to be good this year.
