The Greater Helsinki based Radio Helsinki’s signal will be available at Helsinki Television’s network from 2 January 2003. HTV’s and Radio Helsinki’s agreement to deliver the signal through the cable is an answer to listener’s wishes.
The delivery of Radio Helsinki’s signal through HTV’s network will began on Thursday 2 January at 9 am and its frequency is 104,0 MHz. Cable delivery will amend the audibility of Radio Helsinki especially at downtown Helsinki and assures trouble-free signal through the whole network area.
Delivery through the HTV’s network will expand Radio Helsinki’s area of audibility. HTV has in its broadband network over 235,000 households in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen. Also HTV’s programs will be available at Elisa’s cable network in Tuusula, Kerava, Järvenpää, Kirkkonummi, Veikkola and Klaukkala for over 16,000 households.
