Helsinki Television starts to transmit CANAL+ channels in its cable network also digitally in November. With the digital transmissions of CANAL+ channels a new CANAL+ Zap service will also become available. The service will increase the supply of English soccer league and NHL games.
Finland’s largest cable-TV company Helsinki Television and CANAL+ have agreed to begin digital transmission of CANAL+ in HTV’s cable system from 6 November. CANAL+ is the most popular pay-TV service in Finland.
CANAL+ channels show top-level sports and latest movies. Their supply will now improve along with digital transmission when the new service CANAL+ Zap begins increasing the supply of English Soccer league and NHL games.
