The communications schedules of Werner Söderström Corporation - WSOY, Sanoma Corporation, Helsinki Media Company Oy as well as Oy Devarda Ab which owns shares in the two last mentioned companies are as follows. The companies will merge on 1 May 1999 to form Sanoma-WSOY Oyj.
Advance information on Werner Söderström Corporation's financials for 1998 will be published on Tuesday, 16 March 1999 at 9.00 hours. The information will include the pro forma financials of the companies merging to form Sanoma-WSOY.
Sanoma Corporation and Helsinki Media will publish their Annual Reports in Finnish, in Swedish and in English during week 11. WSOY's Annual Report will be published in Finnish during week 14 and in English during week 15.
Helsinki Media's Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 6 April 1999 and Sanoma Corporation's Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 7 April 1999. WSOY's Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday 16 April 1999.
Sanoma-WSOY's pro forma interim report, based on the audited financial statements of the merging companies for 1 January to 30 April 1999, will be published on Tuesday 29 June 1999 at 17.00 hours.
Sanoma-WSOY's interim report for 1 May to 31 August 1999, also including the pro forma interim report for 1 January to 31 August 1999, will be published on Wednesday 20 October 1999 at 17.00 hours.
